Delicious Inviting Cutlet Recipes For Your Hunger Pangs

As a matter of fact, cutlets can be turned from a satiating breakfast to a quick snack by tweaking the recipe. Made with seasonal vegetables or favorite protein like chicken, mutton or eggs, these delicious nutriments are tasty & versatile. Railway Style Cutlet:
Remember the delicious railway cutlet served during your train journeys? Let's re-create this delicious snack at home. Add a little oil & saute chopped ginger, green chili & onion till soft. Further, add finely chopped vegetables of choice- carrots, french beans, beetroot & boiled mashed green peas. Cook till almost done. Now, add turmeric, chili, garam masala, amchur powder. Mix well. Once the mix cools, add boiled mashed potato, salt & lemon juice to taste. Furthermore, if the mix has moisture add little bread crumbs. Next, make a slurry with cornflour, maida, salt. Shape the mix into cutlets, dip in slurry & coat in breadcrumbs. Shallow fry on both sides. Serve hot.
Poha cutlets:
Did you know poha (flattened rice) can be used to make delicious cutlets? Besides, they taste lip smacking too. Soak one cup thick poha in water for 5 minutes. Further, strain the poha to remove water. Prepare a vegetable mix with finely chopped onion, grated carrots, blanched & chopped french beans, little ginger-garlic paste. Next, add one big boiled mashed potato to the mixture. Furthermore, add soaked poha, spice powders like turmeric, chili, garam masala & mix well. Now adjust seasoning with salt, lemon juice & sugar to taste. Shape the mixture into cutlets. Finally, shallow fry till golden on both sides. Serve hot with coriander mint chutney. An innovative cutlet recipe, these tasty bites are a must try. Grate 1/2 cup fresh paneer & keep aside. Next, boil 1/2 cup dalia with enough water & salt till soft. Once cooled, strain & put the dalia in a mixing bowl & add grated panner. Further, add finely chopped carrots, steamed corn, one boiled & mashed potato. Now add chili sauce, soy sauce & salt-sugar to taste. Give one final mix & shape into cutlets. Finally, coat with bread crubs & shallow fry.
Sprouted Ragi Cutlets:
Have you ever thought of making cutlets out of sprouted ragi? A healthy cutlet recipe, this requires some effort but they taste very good. Soak 1/2 cup ragi in enough water & leave covered overnight. Next, drain water & spread on a damp cloth to sprout (approx 10-12 hours). Now, in a mixing bowl add 3-4 boiled mashed potatoes, coarsely ground sprouted ragi, turmeric, chili, amchur powder & mix well. Further, add salt, ginger garlic paste & chopped coriander. Add a little chickpea flour to form a dough. Shape into cutlets & shallow fry. Serve hot with tasty Indian dips
Spicy Noddle Cutlet
A toothsome way to use up leftover noodles. However, this recipe can be made with hakka or instant noodles too. Firstly, prepare the noodles as per instructions. Now, add cold water to avoid the noodles turning sticky. Next, add boiled & coarsely mashed green peas, 2-3 boiled & mashed potatoes, chopped carrots & seasonal vegetables like corn to the mix. Further, add amchur powder, chili powder, garam masala powder as per taste. Adjust salt & add some chopped corainder leaves. Combine well. Next, make a slurry with maida, corn flour, salt & pepper to taste. Dip cutlets into the slurry & coat well with bread crumbs. Finally, shallow fry till golden on both sides.
