1. Banana and Honey Face Mask to brighten your complexion
Bananas contain potassium which helps the skin by hydrating it and Honey contains antioxidants and moisturizes your skin.
Combine 1/2 banana (mashed) with 1-tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons of cream. Apply to face and leave on for 10 minutes. Gently wipe off with damp washcloth.
2. Cucumber and Yogurt Face Mask to hydrate your skin
Cucumber has cooling, hydrating and soothing effect on the skin and yogurt contains lactic acid and will go to work on your skin to help it glow.
Puree 1/2 of a peeled, sliced cucumber in a blender or food processor with 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes. Gently wipe off with a damp washcloth.
3. Vinegar Face Mask to cleanse your skin
Using vinegar as a skin toner dates back to the time of ancient Greece, and it’s just as effective today. After you wash your face, mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with 2 cups water as a finishing rinse to cleanse and tighten your skin.
You can also create a homemade facial mask by mixing 1/4 cup cider vinegar with 1/4 cup water. Gently apply the solution to your face
4. Papaya and Lemon Juice Face Mask to exfoliate your skin
Papaya contains alpha-hydroxy acids that gently exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells. It also contains enzymes that tackle wrinkles and have anti aging properties. Both papaya and lemon reduce the appearance of acne scars and blemishes due to their skin-lightening properties.
Take ½ cup of blended ripe papaya pulp, Mix in the juice of 1 lemon. Spread this papaya face mask on your face and neck. Leave it on for about 20 minutes, and then rinse it off with cool water. Make sure to peel and de-seed the papaya before preparing this mask.
5. Egg Yolk, Honey and Olive Oil Face Mask to tighten your skin.
The protein in the egg yolk helps to keep your skin healthy, while the vitamins and minerals it contains go to work rejuvenating your skin, Honey draws out any dirt that is in the skin's pores and Olive oil has anti-inflammatory properties to reduce redness and fight the signs of aging with its antioxidants. It is also very moisturizing for your skin.
